Life is a Rollercoaster: Stuff Happens

Life, is a wild ride – full of twists, turns, and unexpected loops that shake up our perspective like a snow globe.

Life events such as graduations, weddings, or career achievements often serve as milestones that make up our journey. Those moments are like high-fives from life, making you feel on top of the world. They’re not just wins; they’re checkpoints where you stop, look around, and realize how far you’ve come.

However, Life throws curveballs, too. Loss, grief and illness can force us to confront the fragility of life, prompting us to look at our own life closer. In these moments, time becomes both an ally and adversary, healing wounds while creating scars.

For me it seems the past 3 January’s created death and illness. They were hard. This January I got anxious of it coming. I didn’t know what another January would bring. This January taught me not all hard things happen at a particular time. This past January was a nice breath of fresh air compared to the past 3.

Plans change, people change, and you got to roll with it. Those unexpected turns may feel like chaos, but they can be the plot twists that make your story more interesting. It is these moments that bring new perspectives, resilience and knowledge.

As we age it is not about the number of candle on our cakes. It is more about the wisdom you have gained with each candle. The older we get the more we realize what really matters and what we really want.

Life events, fun or difficult, shape us individually but also connects us with each other. We find comfort in others who may have similar experiences, it reminds us we are all riding a crazy rollercoaster together.

Embrace and navigate the ups and downs. It can be messy, unpredictable and full of surprises.

be kind to yourself.
